We’ve been serving our community for over 35 years. Our mission is to provide for the special needs of hospice patients and those grieving the loss of a loved one. After all these years this remains at the heart of everything we do.
Hemet Hospice Volunteers, Inc. is a locally based, non-profit charitable organization guided by a volunteer Advisory Board of local community members. For over 35 years, our dedicated volunteers and knowledgeable staff have raised funds to build community awareness in support of hospice services throughout Southwest Riverside County.
As a hospice support agency, Hemet Hospice Volunteers, Inc. has stayed true to our founding mission and continues to provide resources for hospice patients, families, and the bereaved with love and compassion.
Most recently, we have broadened our mission to bring the first dedicated hospice house, the Arbor Hospice Home, to our community.
Hemet Hospice Volunteers and Arbor Hospice are both non-profit agencies and sister organizations, committed to maintaining a strong collaborative partnership. This results in the best outcome for every hospice family in need, regardless of their ability to pay.

Each of us grieves in our own way based on our culture, gender and circumstances. Making decisions in the days, months, and years following the passing of a loved one can be wearisome and often quite difficult.
We invite you to join one of the many groups we provide for both adults and children at our office or your community locations.
As a volunteer, you can make a dramatic difference in another person’s life. Whether it’s providing support to school-age children who have experienced the death of a loved one, sharing your special crafting skills and talents to assist with raising funds for the Arbor Hospice Home, or providing respite support for caregivers. The amazing contributions of our volunteers is an essential part of the work provided by Arbor Hospice and Hemet Hospice Volunteers.
Volunteering is also a great way to make new friends and gain personal satisfaction. You will know that you have had a significant impact on another person’s life while making a positive difference in our community.
When completed, the Arbor Hospice Home will provide expert care and specialized pain and symptom management as an alternative to a hospital or nursing home.
The Arbor Hospice Home will operate like a mini-hospital where expert staff provide specialized pain and symptom management as an alternative to traditional hospital care.
The Arbor Hospice Home will be a comfortable place where each life is honored and family and friends can be with their loved one while they receive quality patient care from our experienced staff.
Your donation and volunteer support allows us to continue providing these essential services to those in need of hospice care. With your continued support, we will be able to meet the needs of your family, friends and neighbors for many years to come.
