As a hospice support agency, Hemet Hospice Volunteers, Inc. has stayed true to our founding mission and continues to provide resources for hospice patients, families, and the bereaved with love and compassion.

Each of us grieves in our own way based on our culture, gender and circumstances. Making decisions in the days, months, and years following the passing of a loved one can be wearisome and often quite difficult.
We invite you to join one of the many groups we provide for both adults and children at our office or your community locations.
As a volunteer, you can make a dramatic difference in another person’s life. Whether it’s providing support to school-age children who have experienced the death of a loved one, sharing your special crafting skills and talents, or providing respite support for caregivers. The amazing contributions of our volunteers is an essential part of the work provided by VNAcare and Hemet Hospice Volunteers.
Volunteering is also a great way to make new friends and gain personal satisfaction. You will know that you have had a significant impact on another person’s life while making a positive difference in our community.
While nothing can ever take the place of a loved one, a Remembrance Bear can bring comfort through its presence, its look and its feel. We believe that finding a way to stay connected to your loved one is an important part of the grief process. We know that everything your loved one leaves behind is a treasure. Bears or pillows can be crafted from a piece of clothing you treasure; your grandma’s favorite shirt, your husband’s paint-stained sweatshirt, or the well-worn pajamas your mother always wore.
Please consider becoming a Hemet Hospice Sewing Volunteer.

Your donation and volunteer support allows us to continue providing these essential services to those in need of hospice care. With your continued support, we will be able to meet the needs of your family, friends and neighbors for many years to come.
